The planning for the Symposium is progressing nicely. Thank you
for everybody's participation, signing up for this fine event. Take
some time to browse through this web site to see all the new
information. Some of the categories are under construction, so check
back often for updates.
Even though the weather is cooling off in the 'Valley of the Sun', we still
do not have to shovel it. We are expecting fine weather for the
Symposium. February is a great time to be in the Phoenix area.
Come see for yourself, better yet bring a friend with you.

The preparation for the 2007 Symposium is well underway. More and
more people are signing up for this event. If you have not signed
up go ahead give yourself and/or someone else a treat; this event
in our backyard, during the wonderful month of February. Turners
will be coming from far and wide to present their skill and techniques
for everyone to see, you to can be part of this event to enjoy.
The Symposium Committee is looking for some volunteer help during
the event. If anyone is interested (or any group you know), please
contact the committee as soon as possible.

Everything is on schedule for the symposium to be a fine success.
Preparations are going well. Thank you to everybody who has registered
for this event. We are getting people from all over to be here in the
'Valley of the Sun' during February. The race is on for 'Who is here
from the greatest distance?' Additionally, the symposium will be well
attend by many of us locally from within the State of Arizona.
The symposium committee is currently looking for people to volunteer to
assist with the event. If you are willing and want to assist us in
presenting the Symposium, please let us know. We have many varied
assignments in which you could help.
For those who attended this 2006 symposium, the 2007 Desert Woodturning
Symposium will be even better. Come and see for yourself.
